What is recorded and measured by the Ergomo computer?
- Power in Watts- updated every one second on the screen based
on an eight
rpm rolling average.
- Heart Rate
- Cadence- updated every one second on the screen based on an
eight rpm rolling average.
- Speed in KPH & MPH.
- 11 hours of recordable ride time on the computer.
Currently, the Ergomo records data every 5 seconds. The Ergomo
takes between 72 and 144 measurements per 1 rpm, averages this number
over the amount of rpm's per second and saves it. Every second a
sample is taken and then 5 seconds (samples) are averaged and this is
the number that is recorded in the computer for download. For example:
300w, 300w, 300w, 305w, 310w, will be taken by the computer and the
average of these will be recorded= 303watts.
Features that you can see while riding.
- Speed, Watts, Heart Rate (HR) and cadence all on one display
- Trip Distance
- Average HR, cadence, watts, speed
- Max HR, Cadence, Watts, speed
- Cumulative Distance
- K/cal and cumulative k/cal
- Time and a trip clock
- Temperature
The Battery in the computer is rechargeable and lasts approximately
30 hours of riding time, before needing a re-charge. The re-charge
will take approximately 2-3hours.
The battery life span is 500 re-charge cycles minimum, so weekly
re-charging would give a 10year battery life. Once the low battery
‘warning’ indicator is on your Ergomo, you have approximately 2-4
hours of riding/recording time left.
There is no battery in the sensor.
