I love the Ergomo Sport and the software. Having switched from
the power tap to the Ergomo Sport, I personally like the fact that
the Ergomo Sport is much more durable. My power tap was constantly
broken. I have ridden the Ergomo Sport in driving rain storms but it
still works great. I also love the fact that you can use your
regular wheels, which makes the Ergomo Sport much more race capable.
Combined with the software, which is an excellent program to
understand what you are accomplishing with power training, you have
a winning combination.

I got the Ergomo at the same time I started using the software. Within a
day, we discovered I needed to change the way I ride.
The feedback the Ergomo gives me on the bike is very important in attaining
my new goals. I don't have to worry about a watch; everything is displayed
on one very simple, slick looking meter, with nice sized buttons!

The Ergomo reminds me of other German engineered products - think
Mercedes - very solid construction and it does what it is intended
to do very well. I looked at the other power meters on the
market - the SRM and the Powertap. My problem with the Powertap
is I have to have a specific wheel in order to use it- ordinarily
a training wheel - so, I get no information when I race - and
that's some of the most important information there is. The
SRM is fine power meter, but costs unavailable more and still weighs
more and you have to ride their cranks. The only alteration
for your bike on the Ergomo is the installation of the BB - no
worries, it's smooth as a Campy record BB.
The computer has a great display that is easy to read even the
brightest sunlight and allows you to see Power, Heart Rate, Speed,
and cadence all at once. The downoad to your computer is
very easy and straight forward. All in all, I think the Ergomo
is the way to go if you want accurate power information including
your races at less than 1/2 the cost of the SRM.

I am one of the first users of the Ergomo and ride a Colnago-Frame
with a Campagnolo-Record component.
First contact was 2001 in Düsseldorf / Germany.
What struck me right away was the architecture, design and
possibilities of measuring performance. The technological solution
for the display (very sporty looking), sensors in the bottom bracket
and the detachable click design at the handlebar were, since they
were superbly crafted and robust, decisive for the buy.
The performance display, speedometer, heart and pedaling
frequency are arranged logically, are intuitively readable and
therefore easy to observe during travel. Also the buttons are easily
reachable and quick to use.
A battery charger and serial cable for pc connectivity was
included right off the bat and the price very moderate in
comparison.
What also really fascinated me was, that the sensors in the
bottom bracket allowed to continue using the Campy-cranks which
meant sporting a superior look to competitive systems.
Performance measuring and the pc based evaluation with the option
of comparing the data with other training session and the option to
have a personal diary are all well thought through and show the same
ease of use as all other components experienced so far.
After over 20.000 kilometers (roughly 12.500 miles) there still
has been no need for repair, no malfunctions or failures whatsoever.
Also the battery charger is still in top shape even though it is
put to daily use.
The complete system as a whole is water resistant, several trips
in rainy weather and several cleaning and washing sessions were
completed without any problem.
And last but not least, there's the perfect service that you get.
All in all, this device has shown to be worth it's money and has
given me much pleasure and new insights using it.
